Here’s the story of Audrey – formerly known as Dama – from her owners Nicola and Steve…
Audrey came to us in December 2012, a much longed for dog and it was love at first sight. She settled in beautifully and has been so well behaved right from the beginning. Everyone we meets comments on what a beautiful and well behaved girl she is.
She has become best friends with my parent’s Dog Charlie who is very nervous of other dogs usually, but with Audrey he has really come out of his shell and is gaining confidence around other dogs as a result.
Audrey was sadly diagnosed with Addison’s disease last November after a sudden illness and we nearly lost her, but after prompt action from our fabulous vet she was quickly stabilised and now 6 months or so on she is getting back to full strength and although she will need medication forever, she should lead a full and normal life – I cannot recommend pet insurance highly enough!!
We recently moved to Windsor and Audrey has made lots of new friends and is really loving life, she is absolutely adored by her two doting owners and is living a life of luxury!
