Both SOS Spain and UK will hold a sponsored walk this year.
So there is plenty of opportunity to get involved or help.
Saturday 29th March

I would like to say a huge thank you to all our supporters in the UK who sponsored our dog walk here in Spain which Janet & I attended. Unfortunately bad weather on Saturday meant the event had to be postponed until Sunday, but some of us decided to brave the elements & donned our wet weather gear to scale the forest walk at El Cine in Coin, reaching the foggy summit for a photo.
The lucky dogs who you kindly sponsored seen here are: Mammy, Freddie, Pip, Lucy, Pirulero and a guest appearance from Bella (a walker’s dog). These lucky guys were taken on both days so managed to achieve 10 kilometres instead of 5. All the other sponsored dogs were taken on the Sunday walk (see previous photos). Please share this with all the people who donated and sponsored a dog for us – and many many thanks once again for all your support, it is greatly appreciated and is an enormous help towards paying our huge vets bills.

Ps – Who forgot to put their clock forward and arrived late for the Sunday walk??? But considering we walked on both days, so twice as far as anyone else, I hope we made up for it!!

As last years Sponsored Dog Walk was quite a success, we will once again be holding a sponsored dog walk on Sunday 18th May 2014 at 10.30am at the same beautiful venue in Milton Keynes. Everyone is invited to bring along a picnic and in the afternoon we will hold the first ever SOS UK dog show. Plus a raffle and fabulous cake stall – so fun guaranteed!
Registration is just £5 per person and can be paid through Paypal. Please make sure you add a note stating that your donation is to register for the walk and your name/s.
