Curtis was abandoned at our fosterers gate about a year ago and was really petrified. His wonderful foster home gave him time and space to gain his trust and build his confidence. Curtis has now really blossomed and come on really well, he is extremely loving of his foster family and enjoys to be out and about on his walks. He is approx. two years old.
Curtis is a gorgeous young boy with so much to give the right home. He just will need a little time and patience to get used to a new home. Once he trusts you he is the most wonderful, loving and loyal boy. He is great with other dogs and is fine with cats.
Curtis was extremely nervous when he first arrived with us, but has improved tremendously and did amazingly well on his first trip to a busy town with lots of noise, people and dogs. He was not at all anxious and was very friendly, calm and sociable with people and other dogs. He is a strikingly good looking dog and has a very soft kind nature. He makes brilliant eye contact and responds well to instructions. He is an extremely clever dog, quick to learn and would be very good at obedience work which helps him to focus and keeps his mind occupied. He would be fine as an only dog or with other good natured dogs & with someone who could keep up the brilliant work which our volunteers have made terrific strides with to help him over his fears and anxieties. He is not worried by noise, cars, or busy environments.
